MIDNIGHT CHICKEN
(presented by Archive Mid North Coast)
Hatched and hand raised in Newcastle NSW, Midnight Chicken are quickly becoming a hot topic in the bluegrass and country circuits around Australia. Their bizarre take on bluegrass music gives birth to amazing renditions of traditional tunes and old classics as well as more modern tunes and originals that are sure to be enjoyed by everyone.
In their short time as a band, they have toured nationally supporting Brad Cox, performing in some of the country’s biggest regional theatres and played at both the National Folk Festival and Woodford Folk Festival. Individually, they have played with some of the country’s greats in the folk/country world including names such as Kasey Chambers, Phil Emmanuel, Greg Sheehan, Rod McCormack, Gina Jeffries and many more! Inspired by the greats, Midnight Chicken are sure to please any crowd.
Midnight Chicken are touring in celebration of their debut self-titled album
